His Glory on Display

As an artist, I am drawn to color, texture, and details.  I’m fascinated to look at a single tree and notice all the different shades of green in the leaves, and all the shades of brown in the bark.  Upon examination, a small section of a tree trunk can contain so many fibers and textures, it’s amazing!

I’m not usually up with the sun, but I love watching sunsets with their array of colors (especially when there are clouds).  It’s like God is painting the sky right in front of me.  The colors change, get more intense, then dim and fade away.

Take a moment today to be still and notice what God has made around you that puts His glory on display.  Revel in the fact that He has created huge and dramatic mountain ranges, planets and entire galaxies, as well as tiny and minute grains of sand and microorganisms. Yet humans are His prized creation which He chose to make in His own image and give the ability to know Him personally.  What an honor!
